The Student Council and the Sports and Music Captains of
Brighton Primary School are a very important part of the
school organisation. Student representatives work cooperatively
with students, staff members and the administrative team
to determine areas of appropriate student responsibility
regarding programs and activities within the school.
Purpose
These student leaders encourage students to promote and
take an interest in their school, its problems, and their
solutions. Student input is regarded as a vital and integral
part of the overall educational experience on this campus.
It is the intent that positive attitudes, good relationships,
knowledge and skills can be created to serve and stimulate
the interest of the students. This group of students also
organises fundraisers to support the school and other
groups that require support within the wider community.
