Staff |
Brighton State School has an experienced staff whose teachers
are:
- caring, positive and dedicated
- professional and part of the team
- responsive to individual student needs
The Geebung District Office is responsible for the allocation
of staff which is determined by student enrolment and
special needs. Currently our active and supportive staff
comprises:
- a Principal
- 13 Classroom teachers
- a Teacher Librarian (full-time)
- a Physical Education Teacher (2 days per week)
- a Music Teacher (2 days per week)
- a Learning Support teacher (3 days per week)
- two
LOTE teachers (German & Japanese)
- a Registrar (full-time)
- an Administration Assistant (part-time)
In addition to the above, teachers are assisted by five
permanent Teacher's Aides, who assist in general classroom,
library and special needs activities. The school also
has visits as required by the Speech Therapist, Guidance
Officer and other Education Advisers.
Finally, the permanent staff includes a Janitor/Groundsperson,
two Cleaners, two Crossing Supervisors and a Tuckshop
Convenor, ensuring the continual functioning of
all the school's essential services.
